Yen Yee is deeply interested in the law and its role in society. Her passion extends beyond casework into active participation in the wider legal community.

Cross-border experience

Yen Yee’s practice spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, with a focus on construction, engineering and international arbitration.

She has advised clients on arbitration, adjudication, mediation and litigation relating to complex projects, including major developments in Malaysia.

Contributing to the profession

Beyond legal practice, Yen Yee has co-authored for LexisAdvance    Practical Guide Malaysia, and been a speaker and moderator at industry events. She is also increasingly involved in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.

These activities reflect her commitment to engaging meaningfully with developments in the legal industry, while helping to shape it to better serve everyone.

Strategic and adaptable

Aside from the law, Yen Yee’s other passion also involves a court: badminton. Often likened to a chess match at 300km/h, the sport demands many of the skills she brings to her practice - quick thinking, calmness under pressure, and the agility to adapt to ever-changing situations.

In every arena, the people around Yen Yee invariably say the same thing: she always finds a way to step up and make a meaningful difference.
