Gina’s connection to Hong Kong began when she was a child, with regular visits to family who live there. During university, she had a formative six-month exchange which gave her exposure to the city’s corporate culture, pace and DNA.
Gina was a lawyer during the boom years when Hong Kong stood at its peak as Asia’s financial capital and gateway into China. During that time, a significant part of her work was focused there as she advised Singapore companies preparing for listing on a surging Hang Seng.
Working closely with her contacts in Hong Kong law firms, Gina guided her clients through pre-IPO business structuring, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and the drafting or verification of prospectuses. With extensive regulatory knowledge and meticulous attention to detail, she has steered the successful Hong Kong listings of a diverse range of companies - from F&B to construction and automotive distributorships - demonstrating her keen understanding of the way different businesses must be shaped to perform well in China’s corporate environment.
